Forgiveness is a field we stand on, live in, is surrounded by

That was the last thing Dad wrote. I think about what it must have been like for him to stand in a field of forgiveness, on the edge of his life. Was it some kind of heat field? Or more like a pool filled with lukewarm yogurt? I close my eyes and see him swimming in the yoghurt. Arms and legs are held up by the thick soft mass, as he slowly slides towards the poolside.
